Volunteering

The Church is the Body of Christ, and we at Hyde Park Pres believe that for us to be healthy as a body, each person needs to be serving in a role that God has gifted them for.  As 1 Peter 4:10 says (NIV), “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.”  We need YOU – your ideas, your energy, your time to do Christ’s work.

To help you find the role that God has prepared you for, David Clay, our Director Every Member In Ministry will assist you in exploring your spiritual gifts and finding God’s place for you at Hyde Park Pres.  If you’re having trouble finding the best place to serve, you can take the Houts Spiritual Gifts Analysis.  This 15 minute inventory will give you an detailed map of where your strengths and interests lie.  Additionally, you can download the EMIM form and check out the many places there are to serve God at Hyde Park Pres.

Also watch the bulletin for recent volunteer opportunities to quickly get involved in the life of your church.

Contact David Clay at 813-253-0069 Ext. 33 or by email at davidclay@hydeparkpres.com.  For a comprehensive list of all of the volunteer opportunities Hyde Park Pres has to offer, please download the Every Member In Ministry form and return to David Clay.
